Sometimes, the coolest custom body modifications are the ones that most people will never notice. They're the subtle touches that add accent to a vehicle and help give it a smooth, cohesive look without standing out and calling a lot of attention to themselves.

One such modification that never seems to fall out of vogue is rounding door corners. It is a common custom technique on many cars and trucks, especially those that have rounded bodylines to begin with. In some cases, one or more door corners on a vehicle already have a curved shape, so rounding the other corners is merely a means to make everything uniform.

The subject of this story--a '56 Ford F-100 pickup--is a rather rotund vehicle with a wraparound windshield, so it lends itself particularly well to this modification, especially at the front of the door near that bulbous front glass. The F-100 experts at Bobco, in Lake Elsinore, California, manned the grinders and welders for this particular project.
